fitspotted has no accounts and no sign-up. We collect very little, and this page lists all of it.

When you click a shop link

Shop buttons go through our own redirect so we can count the traffic we send to stores. For each click we store the piece and creator it came from, the store link, the page you came from (referrer), your country as reported by our hosting provider, and a random session id. We do not store your IP address, name or email. Clicks from crawlers and automated browsers are not stored.

Cookie

The redirect sets one cookie, bsid, holding that random session id so repeat clicks count as one visitor. It lasts one year, is not readable by scripts on the page, and is not shared with anyone. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.

Saved and recently viewed

Pieces you save, pieces you have viewed and when you last opened each creator page are kept in your browser's local storage on this device. They are never sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes them.

Stores and affiliate networks

When you leave for a store, that store and any affiliate network in the link (for example eBay Partner Network, Impact or Awin) receive your visit under their own privacy policies. Some product photos load directly from store image servers (such as Shopify), which see a normal image request.

Where data lives

The site runs on Vercel, which keeps standard request logs. Catalogue and click data live in a Postgres database hosted by Neon. We do not sell or rent any data.

Creators

Creator pages list what was visible in public streams and posts. To correct or remove anything about you, use Remove a piece.
